A  landmark date for Scotland. Saint Andrew’s Day has been selected by the country’s solicitors to usher in a new era in marketing property.

November 30 is D-Day for rolling out an exciting new-look Solicitors Property Centres Scotland website designed specifically to make life easier for buyers and sellers alike.

Scotland’s long-established chain of Solicitors Property Centres, located from the Borders to the Highlands, have signed-up to the new website at www.spcscotland.co.uk

Appropriately, the new website logo features a St Andrew’s Cross, and it’s anticipated that more than 16,000 properties will be profiled on launch day. Encompassing every region of the country, the new-look website is geared towards giving added value at no extra cost to the many sellers who turn to solicitors when they want to secure a property sale.

Even in the current economic climate, Solicitors Property Centres in Scotland have clocked-up more than 17,500 sales over the first nine months of the year.  In monetary terms, these impressive statistics add up to transactions totalling in excess of £3 billion across the country. The new all-Scotland magnet complements the various Centres’ own websites, assuring the full range of properties of an unrivalled national and international profile.

Welcoming the initiative, Malcolm Cannon, chairman of SPC Scotland, said: “Properties being marketed through a solicitor in Scotland will appear on the website and it has been designed for ease of access. Potential buyers simply feed in a basic wish list including a town or postcode, price range and the number of bedrooms being sought. In the blink of an eye they are transported to homes which fit the bill, complete with potential to swiftly access photographs and more detailed information on any particular property.”
